Turkey is home to weaving since the Neolithic period. Many archaeological findings continue to affirm this fact. The continuation of weaving by Anatolian women, even today, shows that the culture of weaving in Anatolia is very rich. ICOC Istanbul is long awaited, and the local committee is working hard to show the unseen pieces from public and private collections.

Cancellation policy for the Registration fee:
The registration fee is refundable for a cancellation received by May 15th minus a handling fee of $50 per person. No refund is possible after that date.
Cancellation policy for the full package:
• A cancellation received by April 30th is eligible for an 80% refund.
• A cancellation received between the 1st and 15th of May is eligible for a 50% refund.
• A cancellation received between the 16th and 31st of May is eligible for a 20% refund
• No refund is possible after June 1st.
Turkey is a rich country where numberless different civilizations harmonized over many centuries. Within ICOC XV, special pre- and post-tours will be organized, aiming to show the cultural heritage of Turkey, in addition to exploring more rug collections in the museums of Anatolia.
